TRAINING IN PARTNERSHIP WITH CRISIS WITH THE SUPPORT OF THE CLG

Following the announcement of the changes to the Local Housing Allowance on 22nd June 2010 in the Emergency Budget, Inside Housing Solutions will be running LHA workshops "Addressing the Impact of the LHA Changes on Private Sector Access Schemes". The first workshop date is scheduled for Thursday, 14th October 2010 in Central London and subject to demand, other dates and locations. Places will cost £75.00 plus vat per delegate. It is anticipated that spaces will be taken quickly so if you are interested, please register here (this does not obligate you to attend at this stage but does give us an idea of demand).

Inside Housing Solutions have produced in partnership with Crisis and with the support of Communities and Local Government (CLG), a comprehensive training programme for organisations who are looking to improve the assistance they offer households wishing to access the Private Sector.

The training comprises the following five modules covering the key aspects that make these schemes effective and sustainable for all parties involved. Additionally the modules are full of best practice and ideas that will allow you to create schemes that can genuinely make the Private Sector a long term option for Tenants. IHS will be offering these new modules in their Autumn training programme as well as a complete Housing Officers' Guide to Notices, Possession & Other Legal issues affecting Private Sector Tenancies.
